Palet D’or was established in 2004. Shunsuke Saegusa, the founder and chocolatier, has been pursuing and creating various chocolates and sweets for more than 40 years. His brand has had more than 50 kinds of products and its amount of production exceeded 10t in a year. When Palet D’or celebrated its 10-years anniversary, he decided to go back to the initial enthusiasm and cut back his partial business in order to contribute himself to bean to bar chocolate production. Now he selects cacao beans by himself very carefully and tries his best to establish the consistent theory of producing chocolates for the next generation.
Dassai 23 Milk
Milk chocolate truffle mixed with “Dassai 23 Junmai Daignjo” of Asahi sake brewery, which is a famous Japanese sake made of rice milled to 23%. The flavor of sake distinguishes the sweetness of the chocolate.
Dassai Nigori Sparkling Dark
Dark chocolate truffle mixed with “Dassai Nigori Sparkling” of Asahi sake brewery, which is a famous Japanese sake made of rice milled to 50%. Fermentation in the bottle gives a refreshing touch to the dark chocolate.
Each box of Dassai Chocolate contains 3 pieces of Dassai 23 Milk and 3 pieces of Dassai Nigori Sparkling Dark. Limited stock available for Christmas!
